Jane Street is hosting a one week scheme for final year students and new graduates, and we're inviting you, your classmates, and your friends to apply!

We're excited to host the inaugural edition of STEP, the Spring Trading Evaluation Programme, at Jane Street. You're invited to spend a week in our London office to learn about our quantitative trading role. Over the course of the week, Jane Street traders will lead attendees in interactive sessions designed to teach trading concepts, and mock trading simulations that demonstrate how they apply to our trading.

This programme is designed to provide a realistic approximation of what a full time trading role is like at Jane Street, with the goal of finding the next great trading hires for our London office. It is intended for those currently looking for full time employment, who are available to start in autumn 2019.

Selected students will arrive in London the evening of Sunday 7th April, and depart the evening of Friday 12th April. For those living outside the greater London area, Jane Street will cover the cost of travel to and from London, and provide housing. All attendees will be paid a competitive stipend, and food and drinks will be provided throughout the event.

Application Process

In order to be eligible for this programme, you must be: available from the 7th - 12th April for the full week, able to start working full time in 2019, and uncommitted to any other full time employment offer(s). Those interested in attending should apply below to be considered for a spot. If you are selected for consideration, we will be in touch after the application deadline to start the interview process.
